Rohtang Pass is located 51 km from Manali at a height of 3,970 meters. The place is situated on the Keylong (or Leh) highway. During winters the pass remains closed while it is open for tourist in the month of June to October. The Rohtang Pass is a gateway to Pangi, Leh Valley, and Lahaul Spiti.
